The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai's Future Leaders Committee invites you to their 2026 spring mixer on Thursday, May 14, 2026. This networking event brings together young professionals from across the Chamber community to connect, exchange ideas, and build meaningful relationships with like-minded peers in the city.


The event will feature Aki Yang, recipient of the Chamber's 2025 Future Leader of the Year Award. As a recognized leader known for building resilient teams in volatile environments, Aki will share her approach to leading and motivating people during times of change.

    Aki Yang heads WildChina’s Shanghai office and co-leads the company’s Corporate Services practice. Her career reflects a commitment to transformative leadership and the creation of meaningful, sustainable experiences within the tourism industry. From pioneering innovative outdoor leadership programs for senior executives to curating China-focused insights for global business leaders, she ensures every journey delivers lasting impact. Her creative approach has earned the trust of prominent clients and recognition on the global stage, including 2025 Future Leader of the Year Award from AmCham Shanghai, and was a finalist for the Most Inspiring Women in Travel Asia 2024.

    A native of Shanghai, Aki graduated from Shanghai International Studies University and began her career in brand management at Unilever. Alongside her role at WildChina, she is pursuing an EMBA at CEIBS.
