The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai's Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility Committee invites you to an event on From Climate Risk to Business Opportunity, on Wednesday, October 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Chamber's office.

Typhoons in Shanghai. Floods in Bangkok. Landslides in Nepal. Across Asia, climate impacts are getting harder โ€” and more expensive โ€” to ignore.

As extreme weather strains infrastructure, supply chains and operations, the question facing business is shifting from how to cut emissions to something more immediate: how to withstand the climate impacts already here.

For companies in China, that shift is both a risk and a market. Demand is building fast for resilient infrastructure, flood and water management, cooling and energy systems, early-warning technology, insurance and supply-chain resilience.

Join business leaders, sustainability professionals and solution providers to explore where climate resilience is creating commercial opportunity in China โ€” and how to position your company to capture it.
