Derek is a serial entrepreneur with a great passion for e-commerce and big data. Before starting LemonBox, he worked for Walmart eCommerce in the Bay Area and launched its cross-border e-commerce business between China and US. He also spent time working at Merrill Lynch and Morningstar in his early career. Derek received his joint Master's Degree in MBA and Public Policy from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Eric Hoang is co-founder and CEO of ZEYA, a beverage company founded in 2020 that champions healthier, more sustainable lifestyles with its portfolio of better-for-you beverages. ZEYA is based in Shanghai with production capabilities in China and Germany.

Before diving into entrepreneurship, Eric led Strategy & Business Transformation at Herbalife Nutrition (China), where he managed Herbalife’s China Growth Fund. His team was responsible for corporate strategy, M&A, and digital transformation. Prior to relocating to Shanghai in 2018, he led Herbalife’s international expansion in over 25 markets from their global headquarters in Los Angeles. He started his career in banking and received his Bachelor of Economics from the University of Michigan.
