Kevin Li is Vice President of Public Affairs & Communications and Card-Issuing Business North Region of Express (Hangzhou) Technology Service Co., Ltd. (Express Company). In his role, he is responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with government bodies, regulators, industry associations and partners, protecting corporate reputation, and driving business development. Express Company, a joint-venture between American Express and Lianlian Group, is the first licensed Sino-foreign bankcard clearing institution in China.

Kevin has been immersed in the financial industry for almost 30 years. Prior to joining Express Company, he was the Chief Representative of Ripple Greater China. He led Ripple to make many breakthroughs in the China market and established in-depth partnerships with local financial institutions.

Prior to that, Kevin was Head of Market Development, Marketing and Government Relation, Greater China of MasterCard, and then moved to an advisor role. He vigorously promoted market development of MasterCard’s B2B business and effectively raised its brand reputation.

Before MasterCard, Kevin worked for HSBC as Head of Payment & Strategic Planning and Analytics, China. He supported the company to become one of the first batch foreign banks to receive a renminbi license, and successfully led the launch of the HSBC debit card in China.

Before he returned to China, Kevin worked in New York for JP Morgan Chase, Citi Group, and American Express as Senior Director, Strategic Business Development - Cobrand Card Portfolio.

Kevin holds a Bachelor degree from Beijing Jiaotong University, and a Master of Business Administration from New York University.

David Messenger is CEO of Hangzhou-based LianLian Global, part of the LianLian Group. LianLian Global helps merchants around the world successfully grow their cross-border eCommerce businesses. LianLian Global strengthens the growth of 200k+ merchants across the globe through its platform, which provides payments, financing, and other services, including logistics, marketing, and compliance services.

A veteran of scaling and transforming organizations during disruptive industry transitions, he previously founded Nuna Network and Mast Mobile (both acquired) and held senior roles at American Express, Virgin Mobile, Towers Watson, and Price Waterhouse.

Han Shen Lin is an upcoming Assistant Professor of Practice in the finance department of New York University in Shanghai (Starting July 1, 2021).

Prior to this, he was a Senior VP, and Deputy General Manager of Wells Fargo Bank, China.
In this capacity, Han helped to lead the bank’s China governance, and oversaw Wells Fargo’s China corporate and commercial banking client coverage, strategy, and business development.

Han graduated from the University of Michigan Ross Business School (B.B.A). He later completed a Master of International Studies at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced
International Studies (SAIS), a Master of Science in Global Finance at the joint HKUST-NYU Stern program, and a Master of Chinese Commercial Law at Fudan University Law School.

Han serves on the American Chamber of Commerce (Shanghai) Board of Governors, and previously served as Chair of its Financial Services Committee. He lives in Shanghai with his wife
and two daughters.
