The Science Based Targets initiative Version 2 (SBTi V2) is the revised global framework for setting corporate climate targets aligned with climate science. It places greater emphasis on implementation, transition planning, Scope 3 emissions reduction, and supplier engagement. As companies face increasing pressure to deliver measurable emissions reductions across operations and supply chains, SBTi V2 introduces stronger expectations for corporate decarbonization and accountability.

The AmCham Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai's Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility Committee will host an event on the key updates of SBTi V2 on Tuesday, June 2, from 3:30 pmโ€“5:00 pm at the Chamber's Conference Room.

Our guest speakers Yang Liu, Senior Consultant at RESET Carbon, will provide an overview of the latest SBTi V2 updates, followed by a fireside chat with Liam Salter, Founder and CEO of RESET Carbon, who will share practical insights from working with multinational companies across the apparel, technology, and manufacturing sectors.
