Dr. Li Luan has been in the chemicals industry for over 25 years and has worked at Dow Chemical and Avery Dennison. She is the Corporate Director of Science and Technology and CTO at PPG Asia Pacific. At PPG, she led the development of new technology centers for low-VOC paints and other more sustainable products. She has also contributed substantially to diversity in her field, as the founder of the Dow Asian Diversity Network in 2000, and as a mentor to dozens of rising female leaders across fields at PPG. She has unique perspectives on sustainability and diversity in the industry.

Yijing is China’s first Forbes 30 under 30 in impact investing, World Economic Forum Global Shaper. Graduated from Cambridge Judge Business School, the first Chinese recipient of the “Impact Investing World Forum” scholarship. Previously have served on deals like carbon neutrality infrastructure Saas company Carbonstop and virtual power plant tech company Zhaowayun.

Dr. Wayne Song has studied and worked in China, Canada, and the USA since 1979. His over 14-year university multidisciplinary study, research, and technology commercialization at the University of Toronto, McMaster University, the University of West Virginia, the University of Maine, Tsinghua University, and Peking University, including civil, chemical, mechanical, and material engineering, and over 25 years industry experience has shaped his solid comprehensive engineering expertise.

Wayne has founded C4X in 2016, a team of Chinese and Canadian CO2 conversion experts to capture, convert and utilize CO2 from flue gas. C4X has become one of the top 10 finalists of the Carbon Xprize. C4X has developed technology to convert CO2 into Carbon nanotubes to make a conductive paste for Lithium-Ion Battery, conductive polymer as well as supercritical CO2 foamed biocomposites.

Since 1993, Wayne has worked in industries from machinery, tooling, and composites, from R&D engineer, manager, to VP engineering, to the president.

Wayne is an achiever and has a passion to transfer technology into reality. He holds over 30 patents, published over sixty articles, and gave keynote speeches in Europe, Asia, North America, and Africa.
