Confusing regulations and policies on visas and COVID requirements have made travel challenging for many people in China. Since the start of the COVID pandemic, this confusion has only grown with recent changes to visa and travel policies in both the U.S. and China. To provide some clarity to members, AmCham Shanghai is organizing a half-day seminar on travel during COVID on the afternoon of December 16. This seminar will feature two expert briefings, the first by the U.S. consulate on U.S. visa categories and policies and the second by PwC on the requirements and process of traveling to China. Following the briefings, a panel discussion will focus different aspects of traveling within and out of China as well as the impact of Covid on travels. This event will provide the much-needed information for companies and people to understand and better prepare for travel during Covid.

This program is part of AmCham Shanghai's COVID Taskforce. For more information on the taskforce's work and guides on traveling to China see this link.
