AmCham Shanghai's Tax Committee and Financial Services Committee invites you to join a presentation and panel discussion on China Tax – 2019 Year in Review and 2020 Forecast on Wednesday, November 13 from 8:30-10:00am at the AmCham Shanghai Conference Room.
The past few years have seen significant changes to various aspects of China tax law: VAT reform, individual income tax (IIT) reform, and various changes to corporate tax provisions, to name a few. Companies are always recommended to proactively manage their tax profile and this message has become even more important in a rapidly changing tax environment. As the tax year-end approaches for many companies, this event will provide not only a summary of key tax developments that occurred during 2019 but also what measures should be taken before the year ends. We will also provide insights related to the outlook for 2020 in term of what tax developments may be expected in the year to come.
Speakers:
· Richard Bao, Tax Partner at Grant Thornton
· James Zhao, Tax Senior Manager at Grant Thornton
Moderator: David Michael Allgaier, Chair of the Tax Committee and Partner of International Tax and M&A at Deloitte, will be moderating this session.
