In collaboration with the American, Australian, Benelux, British, German, and Irish Chambers of Commerce, and sponsored by Shangri-La Pudong - Lifeline China is hosting an inter-Chamber mixer to raise awareness of mental health and raise funds. Join us on September 10 for an evening of social mixing, panoramic views of the Historic Bund, drinks, canapés, and important conversations around mental health.

World Suicide Prevention Day:

September 10th marks World Suicide Prevention Day, an important day for all of us to reflect on those who are vulnerable, and to find ways to support the English-speaking community in China with their mental health needs. The pandemic has caused an increase in mental health concerns worldwide, and its effects were also felt by the English-speaking community in China, whose calls to Lifeline China significantly increased over 2020 and 2021. We recognize these are challenging times and we have called on the community to raise awareness and help us to reach the ever-growing number of people in need of support.

The Better Together Campaign:

To do this, Lifeline China and the Better Together team of community supporters have organized over 35 events in the coming month that are being led, organized, and hosted by volunteers from Lifeline China and the wider community. We strongly believe that we are Better Together and can make a huge impact to support the mental health needs of the English-speaking community in China.

As part of the Better Together campaign - Lifeline China, our Chamber partners and event sponsor Shangri-La Pudong, will host this Inter-Chamber Mixer on September 10th.
