Leadership – the book argues is the antidote to the crisis of leadership. Intentional Leadership is when a leader has the courage to commit to the pursuit of a significant definitive vision and the empathy and energy to attract, nurture and retain followers.
The book connects with but builds beyond existing theories and research. Integrating four separate themes into a coherent model of modern leadership; the need to strengthen the aspirational core of the individual, to form alliances with stakeholders and followers, to increase the adaptiveness of the enterprise and to accelerate increasing the impact achieved.
