AmCham Shanghai's Art & Culture Committee invites you to a guided tour of Juju Wang's Solo Exhibition: OVERGROWN on Friday, Nov. 20 from 4:30-6:00 pm at Objective.

Known for her mixed-media installations, Juju Wang's latest work "Overgrown" features nearly 5,000 meters of sculpted stainless steel wires to explore distortions of distant memory and reality. It metaphorically ties the mechanics of the steel and rich emotions— zigzagging strength and vulnerability in the form of a life-sized tie. Inspired by this oversized installation and the beauty of the over one-hundred-year-old house where the gallery is located, the gallery invited another seven artists to join Juju's work.

The event will provide an in-depth guided tour of all the exhibited artworks. There will be a cocktail reception following the tour.

The tour opens to members and member company employees. Please note that space is limited and granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
