Marketing Café is an inspiring and informal monthly meeting of some of the sharpest minds who think about the role of marketing in business. Bringing together informed professionals from across different disciplines and industries in Shanghai, each session promises to leave you with fresh new ideas.


At the March Edition Janine Jakob, entrepreneur and serial events organizer will share her story about starting her business in China and how she has grown her business and personal brand by building loyal and dedicated communities in Shanghai, Suzhou, and more and more since Covid-19, online.


The Marketing Café community meets on the last Friday of every month to share important or insightful topics on marketing and business. We believe marketing is at the heart of every successful company and our goal is to help our members to grow professionally and personally.


This event is open to all business professionals in Shanghai. AmCham members can attend for FREE; and non-members may attend for 100 RMB per person, which includes morning coffee and pastries. Due to high levels of interest and limited seating, please register in advance to reserve your seat.

    Founder, Peak Performance Coach of Full Potential

    Janine Jakob from Germany is the founder of Full Potential Partners Shanghai who moved to China in 2017. After 7 years of work experience at the global Fortune 500 IT company Hewlett-Packard, she founded the Happiness Association and ByeByeBorders in Suzhou. In parallel, she studied for a double Masters' degree in International Business at German Munich Business School and French SKEMA Business School in Suzhou. Janine lived, studied, or worked in France, the USA, Finland, China.

    Janine is a passionate founder and former event host of several networking organizations like Girl Gone International Suzhou. She bridged intercultural relationships at InterNations Suzhou. In her 2,500 people online community Monday Morning Motivation China, she offers daily support on well-being, motivation, and mindset.

    Industry Experience: 12 yrs in Hospitality, 8 yrs in Consulting, 8 yrs in IT, 5 yrs in Education, 5 yrs in Manufacturing, Automotive & Life Sciences, 3 yrs in Finance.
