    Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Seedlink Tech

    Rina Joosten-Rabou has worked on the subject of innovation in both China and Europe since 2002. She now is the co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer of technology venture Seedlink Tech in China. Besides, she is the founder and currently serves as a Board Member of international HR consultancy International Top Talent.

    Rina held various management positions at a global science-based company active in health, nutrition and materials. Here, she focused on the commercialization process of R&D and innovation. At Seedlink Tech, Rina heads Strategy and the Marketing & Sales Organization in China.

    Heather Smith is the General Manager of Shanghai United Family Healthcare. Heather has over 30 years’ health care experience and joined the Shanghai team from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where she was the Corporate Vice President for Strategic Projects with NMC Healthcare. Heather leads corporate wide strategic projects and the opening of the first private women’s hospital in Abu Dhabi, Brightpoint Royal Women’s Hospital. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration and a Master’s Degree in Public Health. Heather is an American College of Healthcare Executives Fellow and a fellow with The Australasian College of Health Service Management. She is also certified in LEAN in healthcare training from the University of Tennessee. She will present a case study on using artificial intelligence to lead in service driven health care.

    Byron Lee is Assistant Professor of Management at CEIBS. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial Relations and Human Resources from University of Toronto. Dr. Lee’s main research interests focus on Strategic Compensation, Strategic Human Resource Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Industrial Relations. His publications appear in Industrial Relations, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Industrial and Labor Relations Review, Journal of Labor Research and Contemporary Economic Research. Dr. Lee has received the Emerging Scholar Award in Employee Participation and Ownership from the Academy of Management. He will provide us with a scientific view on building high-performance company cultures.
