在工作中我们每天都需要做出决策,然而,这些决策的依据常常是经验、直觉、甚至是压力下的慌乱反应,正确与否全拼运气。数字化让获取数据变得容易,然而,面对海量数据我们却常常无从下手,苦于得不出有效结论。数据分析赋能科学决策课程专为破除以上困境设计,旨在帮助学员建立数据导向思维和科学决策习惯。


In workplaces today, decision-making happens every minute. However, decisions are often based on experience, intuition, and even panic reactions under pressure. Whether they are correct or not is simply a matter of luck. Digitization makes it easier to obtain data, but we often struggle to draw valid conclusions when faced with massive amounts of data. This course is designed to overcome the above dilemmas. It helps students build a data analysis empowered decision-making mindset.

系统化:从思维方式入手,为学员搭建起清晰的科学决策逻辑框架,并在合适的步骤中有机地插入数据分析工具,内容关联紧密。学员将掌握系统性的方法,而非相互割裂的单个工具。

实操性:课程贯穿一个贴近工作场景的沉浸式模拟游戏,学员将把所学工具带入该场景实操练习,不仅能学会"是什么"和"为什么",还能在培训现场掌握"怎么做"并取得可见的成果。


The course is systematic and practical:


Systematic: organically insert data analysis tools into a clear overall framework of decision-making. Students will master a systematic approach rather than discrete tools.

Practical: With a work-related simulation game embedded, students could actively practice the tools. Not only to learn the "what" and "why", but also master the " how" and achieve visible results onsite.

At the end of this session, participants will:

•      Mindset change: break the fixed pattern and establish a systematic decision-making mindset based on data analysis

•      Skillset upgrade: master data analysis tools such as hypothesis test, correlation, regression, etc.

•      Problem-solving: solve a real business problem at the training trough a consistent case study, using what has been learnt

Registration

  • All registrations shall be made online before the session. For full-day sessions, payment also shall be made before the session.
  • For full-day sessions, AmCham Shanghai members are eligible to attend at "Member Rate"; Employees who work at AmCham Shanghai member companies are eligible to attend at "Employee Rate"; Non-members are eligible to attend at "Non-Member Rate".
  • Limited spaces are available, and attendance will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
Walk-in and Cancellation Policy
  • This session requires confirmation of attendance in advance. If you attend this session without prior registration, you will be charged an RMB 50 "walk-in" fee as member and RMB 100 as employee.
  • Cancellation: If you need to cancel your registration for a half-day session, please notify Kelly Deng at (86 21) 6169 3008 or email kelly.deng@amcham-shanghai.org no less than 24 hours in advance. If you need to cancel your registration for a full-day session, please notify Ray Cheng at least two weeks prior to the session for a full refund. Cancellation made within two weeks before the session will not be refundable.
  • To ensure that you have a seat, please come to the session on time. Open seats will be released to other guests 15 minutes after the session starts.
