Richard is the Managing Director of Collective Responsibility, the Founder of HandsOn China, and an Adjunct Professor of Sustainability and Social Innovation at Southern Methodist University, Driven by the belief that change begins with a single step, Richard Brubaker has spent the last 20 years in Asia working to engage, inspire, and equip those around him to take their first step. To date, Richard has overseen the development and execution of more than 200 projects focused on
solving the social, environmental, and economic challenges that are faced in Asia. Richard holds a Masters in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Xiangwei is Asia President and an Executive Committee member of AptarGroup, a global leader in drug delivery, consumer product dispensing and material science solutions. She also serves as a non-executive director on the board of Oterra, a world leader in natural food colors headquartered in Denmark and is an advisor to EQT Group in Sweden.

Xiangwei holds a rich career of 30+ years spanning Pharma, Beauty, Personal Care, Food, and Nutraceutical industries at multinational companies, including 20+ years in Switzerland, China, and America for Roche and DSM before joining Aptar in 2018. Xiangwei is recognized as a visionary and dynamic leader, who prides herself in her ability to think and act cross-culturally and to find win-win solutions in even the most difficult situations.

Xiangwei is passionate about the development and advancement of women, young professionals, and youths in less economically developed areas. She is a senior advisor to sHero China and serves on the Board of Governors of Shanghai YZL Philanthropy Fund.

Xiangwei is a frequent speaker and panelist on topics such as Doing Business in China and US-China Business Relationships.

In December 2023, Xiangwei was interviewed at Aptar’s Suzhou facility, alongside US Ambassador to China Nicholas Burns, by CBS correspondent Lesley Stahl in her segment An American in China featuring Ambassador Burns. In the interview, Xiangwei spoke about her long term optimism on China’s economic development, especially in the healthcare and consumer goods sectors. The story was aired on CBS Sunday program 60 Minutes on February 25, 2024.

Xiangwei received her Bachelor of Economics from the University of International Business & Economics in Beijing and her EMBA from Columbia Business School in New York.

Xin Yao, Aptar China President, is also responsible for Aptar PharmaNortheast Asia ( Japan, South Korea & Greater China) business more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry at Aptar and Capsugel (Pfizer/Lonza) in roles of business development, sales-marketing, strategy, and general management. She studied at Cambridge for an MBA and Wharton Business School for Advanced Management.

Alex Xie joined Aptar in February 2020 as the Asia Strategic Program Director and a member of the Asia Leadership Team. Based in Shanghai, Alex is committed to supporting Aptar to better serve its customers and achieve its sustainable growth ambitions in Asia through various strategic programs and initiatives.

Nancy has experience in collaborating with clients across a range of industries and various government agencies. Working for Smithers for 10+ years, she has helped the company set up several new business units in China, and recently leading our information business in the region developing conferences and working on market research projects. Nancy has led multiple consulting projects, and her early market research on new projects has provided key information and data to support both our clients and our own investment decisions.
