2. Is the liberal arts college a "water school"? What is the level of recognition for liberal arts colleges? What kind of students are suitable for liberal arts colleges?



3.With the surge in Common App applicants, how can one maintain competitiveness?



4.Some universities are reinstating SAT requirements, while others are reducing the weight of SAT scores. Where should students go from here? How can they break through from other aspects?



5.The international situation is rapidly changing, with top university presidents participating in hearings. What signals are they revealing, and how might it impact Chinese students?



6. Grade 9 students are very confused about their future major. How should they choose courses? What can they do to explore their future professional direction?

  • Dr. Kathryn S

    Dr. Kathryn S

    Dr. Kathryn is an educational counselor and teacher with a joint Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Humanities from Stanford University. She has over 20 years of experience teaching literature and writing one-on-one and in small group classes, teaching English as a second language internationally, and mentoring students through the middle school, high school, and college admissions processes. She has taught at the university level at many different top-ranked colleges, including Stanford University and Yale. Outside of teaching and counseling, she is a published scholar and a recipient of Fulbright and Mellon Foundation fellowships and has also worked as a Program Director and Educational Consultant. As a college admissions counselor, she loves to help families navigate the confusing admissions system, and she works with students on developing a comprehensive plan that suits their needs and ambitions. Her students have gained acceptance to top American universities and fine arts programs, and in all her work, she strives to assist each student in finding their own unique voice and story.
