"Design Thinking" is not only a training course, but a journey with unforgettable experiences! All the methods and contents in the course have been re-innovated against conventional training methods in order to give the attendees many WOW experiences and innovative results!


In this course, we will use a systematic problem-solving approach of "Design Thinking" co-developed by IDEO and Stanford University, to help you understand Design Thinking, We will use many tools to prototype models. There will be many successful innovations cases to share and to analyze during the training.


At the end of the program, participants will be able to:


  • MINDSET

Understand the Design Thinking approach and be able to use it in your current company to identify and solve existing problems to bring change and improvement to your organization.


  • PROCESS

Learn the step-by-step approach to innovation to address challenges in your work. Put these processes into action through a variety of Design Thinking tools and skills.


  • ACTION

Prototype the content/problem you need to improve/solve, test then adjust till the best possible outcomes shown through on-the-spot feedback.

Registration

  • All registrations shall be made online before the session.
  • For full-day sessions, AmCham Shanghai members are eligible to attend at "Member Rate"; Employees who work at AmCham Shanghai member companies are eligible to attend at "Employee Rate"; Non-members are eligible to attend at "Non-Member Rate".
  • Limited spaces are available and attendance will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
Walk-in and Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellation: If you need to cancel your registration for a half-day session, please notify Ray Cheng at (86 21) 6169 3015 or email ray.cheng@amcham-shanghai.org no less than 24 hours in advance. If you need to cancel your registration for a full-day session, please notify Ray Cheng at least two weeks prior to the session for a full refund. Cancellation made within two weeks before the session will not be refundable.
  • To ensure that you have a seat, please come to the session on time. Open seats will be released to other guests 15 minutes after the session starts.
