AmCham Shanghai's Trade & Investment Center cordially invites you to join a business delegation to Suzhou Xiangcheng District on August 12. Xiangcheng District is a central district in Suzhou known for being the city's transportation hub. This event will focus on the opportunities brought by the six new economic industries in Xiangcheng District (digital finance, Internet of Vehicles, industrial internet, advanced materials, blockchain, and biomedicine) for Chinese and foreign companies. Attendees will meet and communicate with leaders from Xiangcheng District. The leaders will give an introduction on the business environment and investment opportunities in the district and elaborate on the future development plan of the six new economic industries.

About Xiangcheng District:

Xiangcheng District is in the geographic center of Suzhou and the core area of the Yangtze River Delta. It has a national economic development zone, a provincial-level high-tech zone, and a provincial-level tourism resort. Xiangcheng District is not only a livable water town with long history, but also a transportation hub with great location advantages and growth potentials. The high-speed train from Suzhou can reach Beijing in 4 hours, Nanjing in 50 minutes, and Shanghai in 20 minutes. The district has put great effeort in building its "six new economic industries". At present, there are 1,615 enterprises in digital finance, Internet of Vehicles, industrial internet, advanced materials, blockchain, and biomedicine.

Please note:

• This event only opens to management personnel from digital finance, Internet of Vehicles, industrial internet, advanced materials, blockchain, and biomedicine,and is limited to one representative per company. All registrations will have to wait to be approved by the government, and a confirmation email will be sent out by AmCham after final approval
• Meals and transportation are covered by the organizer
• COVID prevention policy: participants must have negative nucleic acid test results from August 10 and August 11, and receive a nucleic acid test after arriving in Suzhou. Those who have been to any mid or high COVID risk regions 14 days before August 12 are not allowed to participate in the delegation
• Seats are limited; the Shanghai American Chamber of Commerce reserves the right of final confirmation
