China's Personal Information Protection Law went into effect on Nov. 1, 2021. As special legislation in the personal information protection field, the PIPL has raised detailed requirements over how employers process employees' personal information beginning from the time of recruitment through resignation. How has the law impacted HR management and what has been learned so far?


AmCham Shanghai's Human Resources Committee invites you to join a discussion of the impact of the law on HR management on Wednesday, Dec. 15 from 10:00 to 12:00 pm at the AmCham Shanghai office. Legal experts and senior HR executives will join the discussion to provide an explanation and analysis of the legislation; as well as offering an exchange of best practices, including cross-boarder data transfer for MNCs and end-to-end working processes.
