On December 1st, 2019, the State Council issued the Outline of The Integrated Regional Development of the Yangtze River Delta. Subsequently, the Ministry of Science and Technology, together with the governments of Shanghai City, Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang Province and Anhui Province, jointly compiled the Construction and Development Plan of Science and Technology Innovation Communityin Yangtze River Delta, which accelerates the pace of the integration. Due to the consideration of further development and the change of local resource factors, the flow of enterprises among the Yangtze River Delta Region has become increasingly frequent, which also brings up several related subjects, such as talent retention, talent attraction and talent training.

2019年12月1日，国务院《长江三角洲区域一体化发展规划纲要》正式发布，随后科技部会同上海市、江苏省、浙江省、安徽省人民政府共同编制《长三角科技创新共同体建设发展规划》出台，长三角一体化进程进一步加大步伐。在此背景下，出于自身发展考虑以及资源要素变动原因，长三角各区域间企业的流动日益频繁，也带来了对于人才保留、人才吸引及人才培训等诸多相关问题的思考。

AmCham Shanghai's Trade & Investment Center, together with the State-leveled Jiaxing Economic & Technological Development Zone (JXEDZ) invites you for an event on June 16 from 2:00-4:00 pm at the AmCham Shanghai Conference Center. Leaders of JXEDZ will talk about industrial positioning, competitive advantages, and existing preferential policies of the region, introduce the current talent policies, and share their insights about the importance of optimization of human resources and relevant policies. Representatives from enterprises will share their experiences of the impact of supporting policies for the relocation in Jiaxing. Attendees will also have the opportunity to talk with the government officials, Head of Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Director of Manufacturing Investment Promotion Bureau, and specially-invited corporate representatives about the region's current outlook and investment opportunities.

Introduction 介绍

Jiaxing, located in the center of Yangtze River Delta Region, is committed to acting in response to the integration process of the Yangtze River Delta, and building itself into a modern network-based garden city, a high-quality foreign investment cluster area, and a demonstration city in Zhejiang Province for all-round cooperation with Shanghai. The State-leveled Jiaxing Economic & Technological Development Zone (JXEDZ) is located in the major part of this city, and with the superior geographical location and perfect supporting services, has accommodated over 670 foreign invested enterprises from more than 40 countries and regions, including 38 Fortune 500 members. Four major industries including food processing, auto parts, equipment manufacturing and electronic information has come into being in JXEDZ. In this process, the EDZ has provided successful solutions to a number of relocation enterprises and accumulated experience for supporting similar projects.
