Workshop introduction

Everyone loves a person who does not have an overt personal agenda. Unlike negotiations skills, influencing skills is subtle but creates a bigger and longer lasting effect that can bring success to its practitioners. This program presents the information in practical terms and provides the "how to" on ways to plan and implement any influencing scenarios. Besides group discussions, there will be many opportunities for participants to practice on job-related situations.

    Louis started his career with EY Consultant and has more than 25 years of work experience with multi-national corporations spanning 3 industries: Consultancy, Manufacturing, and Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese, he has led these organizations at senior positions. His subject expertise include Project Management, Problem Solving & Decision Making, Change Management, Leading Self (New Manager), Leading Others (Senior Managers), Communicating with Impact (Pyramid), Influencing Skills and the use of Personality-based teaming workshops. Louis is certified in Facet 5, DISC and INIFAC SPOT-on Facilitation

    In the last 19 years Louis has lived and worked in China. Since 2004, his full attention has been given to the workshop and facilitation field with specialization in the use of psychometric instruments for personal awareness and team development. And since 2012, Louis has been leading over 30 facilitation workshops every year as a facilitator. In 2018, he was the only Asian facilitator, who invited to be the Global Challenge Foundation (Sweden). Recent clients he served include Tik Tok, Uniplan, Disney China, SONY China, DSM (Chemical), Smith & Nephew (Medical Device), GKN Aerospace, Lowes Global Procurement (USA, Retail), Western Digital, Manulife, Vopak, Terumo (Japan, Medical Device), Fresenius, URGO, E-land (Korea, Fashion Retail, Unilever and Roche.

    Louis received his Bachelor of Science in 1990 and an MBA in 1991 from Indiana University, Bloomington. USA.

This program is for anyone who needs to influence others. This may be influencing as part of a leadership role, or influencing where you are in a partnership, project group or other setting (such as campaigning or negotiating) where you need to persuade others.
