AmCham Shanghai cordially invites you to join a government roundtable with The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) on Wednesday, November 4 from 14:30-16:30 pm at the AmCham Shanghai Conference Center. Gao Jian, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Departmentfrom NDRC will brief Chamber members on several topics including 14th Five Year Plan, Dual Circulation, Yangtze River Delta Integration as well as foreign investment policies. Deputy Director Gao would also like to hear from members on below areas:

• The key challenges faced by member companies including access policies, tax burden, logistics, investment and financing, employment, RMB exchange rate, policy transparency, environmental protection, foreign exchange management, infrastructure, etc.
• How are member companies affected by the U.S. – China trade tensions; What specific benefits did the first-phase of trade agreement between U.S. and China brings to enterprises, and what are the expectations for the next phase of U.S.-China trade negotiations?
• What factors are influencing companies on supply chain decisions, especially on decisions to move supply chain out of China?
• What are the main problems that member companies currently have with China's business environment, and what are the possible directions for improvement in the next step?
• What impact has the new foreign investment law had on member companies?
• What is the understanding and expectation of member companies on the concept of China's dual circulation development pattern?
• What are the investment prospects of member companies during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and what are areas for business expansion?
