Cybersecurity compliance has been a must prerequisite for full-speed business expansion for corporates in China, especially MNCs. How to fully comply with the requirements of multiple regulations and laws on "Cross-Border Data Transmission", guarantee the safety of vital data, and gradually set up the routine work in the data storage domestically / transferring abroad have been the important issues which need to be considered carefully.

In Addition, extending and supplementing the original MLPS rules, Multi-Level Protection Scheme version 2.0 (MLPS 2.0) has come into force since last December. It has regulated strict data security requirements and aroused more challenges to the corporates in China (both domestic and foreign businesses). The topic of Cybersecurity has been re-brought to the forefront which pushes companies move towards the shaping of compliance and becomes the "top priority" beyond COVID-19.
