Ever since the late nineteenth century, when Yung Wing's Chinese Educational Mission sent groups of Chinese students to the US to study science and engineering at American universities, education has been seen as a source of constructive engagement between the two countries. In the current climate of trade wars and pandemics, can it continue to play that role? Join AmCham Shanghai for this members-only event on June 18, from 8:45am-10:30am to learn from several world-class experts and leaders, who will discuss education as a force for connection since the restoration of diplomatic relations and the continuing value of trans-Pacific education in the years ahead.
