AmCham Shanghai's Tax Committee invites you to join a webinar presentation on the COVID-19 tax implications and considerations for US companies with operations in China on March 10th from 1:00 - 2:00 pm via AmCham webinar.


The COVID-19 outbreak in China and beyond is having a global impact to multinational organizations, including US-parented multinationals with subsidiaries in China. The government has responded with a variety of tax-related measures aimed to help impacted businesses. These measures related to enterprise income tax, VAT, individual income tax, import tax, social security tax, and other items. This webinar will discuss COVID-19 tax-related developments and will include a discussion of the following:


  • Chinese government's tax relief measures
  • Considerations for tax departments

    Benjamin started his tax professional career in Shanghai from 2005. He is specialized in providing China tax and business regulatory advisory and compliance services to the clients in various industries.

    Benjamin is the in-charge tax partner on R&D related activities in central China and has advised on many clients (including both MNCs and domestic clients) relating to their establishment of business entities, optimization of transaction models, profit repatriation issues, tax compliance, and on-going operation. He is also specialized in M&A related services (e.g., tax due diligence, group structuring, IP planning, etc.).

    His clients cover a wide spectrum of industries such as TMT, chemical, auto, industrial manufacturing, consumer products and business consulting. Benjamin is also a regular speaker and commentator at business seminars and conferences on China corporate tax matters.
