Presentation 2.0 - Persuasive Presentations Advanced Workshop will methodically walk you through all the steps from Design to Delivery, empowering you to create and deliver persuasive presentations!


You will be introduced to Cognitive principles and the 6 principles of Persuasion Theory and how they can be applied to your presentations today. You will learn some basic Corporate Storytelling techniques and structures and how to incorporate them into your presentations to engage, influence, and persuade your audiences.



Utilizing key findings from Behavioral Economics, Neuromarketing, and Neuroscience you'll be able to identify the pain points of your audience and learn how to choose the most persuasive principles to use in your presentations.


Using the 3D Presentations learning model (Design | Develop | Deliver), you'll learn, step by step, the 3 phases of a Presentation.


  • DESIGN: ( Preconsiderations) Brainstorming, Audience analysis, Research + Structure
  • DEVELOP: ( Adding Emotional appeal) Introductions, Persuasion Theory, Storytelling + Conclusions that get results!
  • DELIVER: (The art of presenting) Body language, Voice Control, + both Verbal + Nonverbal Communication techniques.

Safety note

Due to heightened health awareness factors, safety measures will be administered.

  • All participants must have official Green QR code and pass through security health check on arrival
  • Hand sanitizer, masks and air purification will be in place
  • Social distancing will be implemented (one attendee per table)
  • Reduced and limited class size (maximum 10 attendees)
  • Trainer has been in Shanghai for the last year and never left during the height of safety concerns


Registration

  • All registrations shall be made online before the session. For full-day sessions, payment also shall be made before the session.
  • For full-day sessions, AmCham Shanghai members are eligible to attend at "Member Rate"; Employees who work at AmCham Shanghai member companies are eligible to attend at "Employee Rate"; Non-members are eligible to attend at "Non-Member Rate".
  • Limited spaces are available and attendance will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
Walk-in and Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellation: If you need to cancel your registration, please notify Ivette Corominas at (86 21) 6169 3010 or email ivette.corominas@amcham-shanghai.org at least two weeks prior to the session for a full refund. Cancellation made within two weeks before the session will not be refundable.
  • To ensure that you have a seat, please come to the session on time. Open seats will be released to other guests 15 minutes after the session starts.
