The Shanghai Municipal Housing and Urban and Rural Construction Management Commission recently released official document on further improving and optimizing the business environment of processing building permitting which aims at reducing the processing time in aspects of geological survey, quality control and completion inspection. This is part of the Shanghai government's efforts to improve the city's business environment and decrease regulatory hurdles for companies operating in Shanghai.

Shen Honghua, Chief of Market Regulation Division at the Shanghai Municipal Housing and Urban and Rural Construction Management Commission will conduct a workshop on the new policy and answer questions connected with building permitting on Tuesday, May 7 from 9:00-11:00am at the AmCham Shanghai Conference Center.
