【NYU Shanghai】Protecting Your Child's Attention, Grit, and Executive Function in the Screen-Saturated World

As parents navigate educational resources in the high-stakes K-12 landscape, the pressure to academically accelerate children through heavy scheduling (jiwa) has never been higher. However, developmental neuroscience reveals a fundamental truth: an anxious brain cannot retain information, and an exhausted brain cannot innovate.

In this session, Prof. Lixian Cui, Associate Professor of Psychology at NYU Shanghaiwill shift the focus from school rankings to the true lifelong engine of academic success: Executive Function.

Whether your child is entering kindergarten or preparing for high school, parents will walk away with a science-backed blueprint to protect their child's cognitive development, screen habits, and mental resilience across every developmental milestone.
