AmCham Shanghai presents the half-day 2021 AmCham Food, Agriculture & Beverage (FAB) Conference, with an ensuing open-to-all food fair, plus happy hour with draft beer and wine tasting. This year's conference will focus on key factors that facilitate growth in an increasingly complex market. Topics for industry professionals include future growth opportunities in China, lessons learned from the pandemic, maximizing sales and communication channels, potential market disruptors, regulation changes, and more.
Topics to be discussed:
With their newfound perspectives, CEOs in the food & beverage industry will reflect on the year 2020. We will hear the discussion of the challenges they overcame, and their respective response or workarounds. The discussion will lead to the CEOs' visions for the industry in the coming years.
As consumers in China are rapidly evolving, marketing channels are increasingly diversified, pressuring companies to keep up. Speakers from various sub-industries will share their respective strategies for navigating a complicated market, and key points for maximizing sales on different digital platforms.
Speakers will introduce budding players that might become prominent competitors in the near future while also discussing potential risks and legality issues that may arise with emerging businesses. We will hear about the global emergence of "ghost kitchens" aka "cloud kitchens" and other trends, as the speakers examine their potentials and caveats.
The 2021 FAB Conference will also feature a separate Food Fair and an open Cocktail Mixer from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm after the conference, please click here to register for the mixer separately.
*Conference ticket includes mixer so all conference ticket holders will not need to register for the mixer again.
