AmCham Shanghai invites you to join us for our Annual General Business Meeting on November 29th at Four Seasons Hotel, Puxi. This special evening will include a presentation by Chairman Eric Zheng on the Chamber's activities in 2018. We will also have a keynote speech presented by Dr. Michael Humphries, on Sleepless in Shanghai: Why Sleep Matters, and How to Get More. Dr. Michael Humphries is a Cambridge and London University-educated physician who specializes in internal medicine and pulmonology. After resident positions and three years research at the British Medical Research Council, he moved to Hong Kong initially for one year but decided to build his career there and was subsequently appointed to Consultant Physician. Since 1990 he has been working in clinical research and new drug development in all therapy areas, and has achieved more than 50 new drug approvals in China. He has lived in China for 20 years.

The election results for the 2019 Board of Governors will be announced immediately following the keynote speech. Guests are then invited to enjoy a networking cocktail reception after the announcement.

Please note: The Chairman's presentation is open to members only but non-members may attend Dr. Humphries's presentation. Voting members can also cast their votes at the event from 17:00 to 18:30.
