Lishui, located in the southwest of Zhejiang province, possesses a significant ecological advantage and is a national-level ecological demonstration zone. It has a forest coverage of 81%; Lishui's air is two times clearer than the standards set by the World Health Organization(WHO), and the city's ecological environmental quality has placed first compared to all other cities in Zhejiang during the past 10 years.

With these advantages in ecological leisure, Lishui is known as 'East China's largest natural oxygen bar'. The sum of the forests and wetland ecological benefits reached RMB 223 billion. Lishui is an excellent tourism city in China with 14 national AAAA level scenic areas. It is the source of the Oujiang, Qiantang, Minjiang and Friyun rivers, among which Oujiang is the second longest river in Zhejiang Province. Additionally, people's life expectancy of Lishui is 78.33 years old, which is 3.5 years higher than the national average life expectancy.

AmCham Shanghai's Trade & Investment Center invites you to this event on March 14 from 14:00-16:00 at the AmCham Shanghai Conference Center. A delegation from Lishui will share their insights in the development of ecological leisure industry, demonstrate potential investment environment, and existing favorable policies in Lishui City. The following representatives from Lishui City will be present at the event:

Ms. Jingjing Chang, Deputy Director at Lishui Commerce Bureau, will deliver the opening remarks and provide an overview investment environment of Lishui.
Mr. Zongyuan Wu, Deputy Director at Qingyuan Economic and Trade Bureau, Lishui, will introduce the investment environment and favorable policies of Qingyuan County, Lishui.
Mr. Huajun Chen, Director at Liandu Economy and Commerce Bureau, Lishui, will introduce the favorable policies and major projects in Liandu Distric, Lishui.

About Lishui, Zhejiang Province
Lishui, located in the southwest of Zhejiang province, is a national-level ecological demonstration zone. It is a forest city, a favorable tourism city, an international tourism city, a land of longevity, and a climatically livable city in China as well. It is always known as the “First Ecological City in China”, “Green Land in Zhejiang”, “Cradle of Plants and Animals in Eastern China”, etc. Praised by President Xi Jinping as the “Most Beautiful Land in Zhejiang” (“gorgeous Lishui, a flawless beauty”), the city covers an area of 17, 300 square kilometers in total, accounting for one-sixth of the land area in Zhejiang province and it is the largest prefecture-level city in Zhejiang province concerning area. It has 2 districts (Liandu District and Longquan City) and 7 counties (Qingtian, Jinyun, Suichang, Songyang, Yunhe, Qingyuan, and Jingning) with a population of 2.66 million. 
 
Thanks to the high-speed railway, it only takes 2.5 hours to reach Shanghai, 1.5 hours to reach Hangzhou, and half an hour to reach Wenzhou. All counties in Lishui can be connected by freeway. Thus, the traffic condition in Lishui is quite favorable, which can greatly facilitate population mobility, physical distribution, fund flow, and information circulation.
About Qingyuan County in Lishui, Zhejiang Province
Qingyuan is a mountainous area in the southwest of Zhejiang province. There are many kinds of landforms, such as stream valley, basin, hill, low mountain, medium-high mountain and so on, and the topography goes from northeast to southwest.
 
Climate of Qingyuan is subtropical monsoon climate, warm and humid with four distinct seasons. The annual average temperature is 17.4 ℃, 1760 mm annual precipitation, with frost-free period of 245 days without extreme weather conditions. When it comes to different parts of Qingyuan, the temperature in the east and north is lower than that in the southwest and central, the frost-free period is shorter and the temperature difference between day and night is large, so it is most suitable for the growth of mushroom and other fungi. There are 189,800 hectares of land in the county, including 167,796.3 hectares of forestry land, 15,283.01 hectares of agricultural cultivable land and 2,733.2 hectares of stream water.
About Liandu district in Lishui, Zhejiang Province
Liandu district is located in the southwest hinterland of Zhejiang province and the middle reaches the Oujiang river. It is the only municipal district in Lishui city. The municipal party committee and the municipal government are located in this city, along with the city’s political, economic, and cultural centers. It covers a total area of 1,502 square kilometers (12.95 million mu) with a residential population of 45.85 million.
