Previously she had a healthy café, catering & delivery business that has since been re-branded as Better Bentos, she is now in a consultancy role.

    Alina joined Mintel in 2016 as Associate Director in China Report Team. She leads content production and client work in areas of lifestyle, leisure, travel, media and retail. Before Mintel, Alina worked at TNS with focus on qualitative research. Her project experiences cover a wide range of FMCG categories, eg food and beverages, personal care, tobacco and alcohol, apparel and footwear and pet food and care. She has a Master Degree in Management (Marketing) from Durham University.

    With over 20 years of research experience, she has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals and participated in inventing and applying for more than ten international and Chinese patents. She previously worked for Ruijin Hospital and had research and management experience in industries such as Philips Asia Research Center, GSK R&D China, Gene Group Holdings, during which she dedicated herself to translating advanced science and technologies to clinical practice and market need. Now as a member of the NU SKIN scientific research team, she is actively collaborating and maintaining good relationships with renowned academic institutes as well as research centers. She is taking care of preclinical and clinical researches in China and opened research platforms including screening or functional studies, and various new research directions.
