As a manager, you dream of having more time to dedicate to strategic thinking and advanced projects. But you face difficulties pushing your team members towards more autonomy.

In China, students are trained to strictly follow their teachers’ instructions; employees are expected to respect authority and not take initiatives. How can you adapt your management style to turn around the situation while still respecting Chinese culture? How do you do it in a motivating way for your staff?

Through many anecdotes from successful Chinese and foreign managers in China, we will determine ways on how to efficiently empower your staff. We will especially look at how to deal with the new Chinese generations, those born in the 80’s and 90’s.
