The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai 's Technology and Innovation Committee invites you to our next US-China tech and innovation policy update, featuring our returning policy expert Michael Frank, Co-founder and CEO of Radiant Intel on Wednesday, February 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Zoom.

As Washington continues to harden and formalize its economic and national security approach toward China, 2026 will be a pivotal year for American companies operating in the market. USโ€“China policy is increasingly shaped by concerns around strategic competition, supply chain resilience, and technology security, creating a more complex and regulated operating environment for cross-border trade, investment, and data flows.

This briefing offers a clear, business-focused snapshot of where US policy is heading and what it means for corporate strategy in China. The session will highlight the major US policy developments most likely to affect American businesses in China, including:

  • Tariffs and trade barriers
  • Import and export controls, particularly on advanced technologies
  • Inbound and outbound investment restrictions
  • The regulatory and political outlook for TikTok and other digital platforms
  • Critical minerals and rare earth supply chains
  • Emerging legislation such as the Biosecure Act and related national security measures

๏ปฟErik Walenza, Chair of the Chamber's Tech & Innovation Committee, will facilitate the meeting.

# Please note that this event will only be hosted virtually, and a Zoom link will be provided via email upon completion of your registration.
