AmCham Shanghai's Education Committee is excited to present an event about university rankings on Dec 7, 6:45-8:45pm at the AmCham Shanghai conference center.

Keynote speaker, author and educator Colin Diver, will deconstruct the conventional model of college rankings based on his newly published book Breaking Ranks: How the Rankings Industry Rules Higher Education and What to Do about It​. After Mr. Diver's presentation, a panel of educators and experts, including Den Hoopingarner, Public Engagement Officer, U.S. Consulate in Shanghai, Jill Lauck, Director of College Counseling, Shanghai American School, and Robbie Shields, American Principal, Qibao Dwight School will share their perspectives on and experiences with rankings, and how it affects educational choices, amongst other issues afflicting many families.

The event will be conducted in English.

上海美国商会教育委员会将于12月7日下午6:45-8:45举办专场活动——"美国高校排名：面纱后的真相"。活动将邀请美国著名教育家，里德学院前校长、《打破排名》作者Colin Diver先生连线加入，他将深度解读排名行业如何控制了美国的高等教育，以及应该如何破局。本场活动也有幸邀请到了几位国际教育的专家：美国驻上海总领事馆文化领事Den Hoopingarner，上海美国学校升学指导总监Jill Lauck、上海七宝德怀特高中美方校长Robbie Shields，他们将就高校排名、择校以及其他家庭关注的话题进行深入的分享和探讨。

活动将以英文进行。
