- 帮助企业识别海外客户及全球供应链中不断变化的ESG要求;
- 理解ESG对供应商准入、订单获取和国际市场拓展的实际影响;
- 梳理企业在碳核算、产品碳足迹、绿色工厂和供应链尽调方面的行动重点;
- 避免"为了报告而做ESG",建立与经营目标相结合的实施路径;

The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai's Hangzhou Center cordially invites you to join the sharing session "From Compliance to Competitive Edge: Turning ESG into a Global Supply Chain Advantage" on August 28 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
As global sustainability regulations continue to deepen, ESG is no longer merely a disclosure issue for listed companies — it is progressively evolving into procurement criteria for multinational clients, supplier qualification requirements, and a critical competitive threshold in the process of going global. For the many Zhejiang-based enterprises deeply embedded in global industrial chains, demands from overseas clients, brands and investors are becoming increasingly specific: Can companies provide credible carbon emission and product carbon footprint data? How should they respond to customer due diligence on labor rights, business ethics, and supply chain transparency? Where should they even begin with green factories, energy management, ESG ratings, and international certifications? And how can these investments be genuinely translated into customer trust, order stability, and long-term business value?
The session will be tailored to the real-world business contexts of Zhejiang's manufacturing and export-oriented enterprises, covering topics such as global ESG regulations and customer requirements, corporate ESG framework development, supply chain risk identification, carbon data and green manufacturing, as well as the practical realization of ESG value. The session will include the following:
- Helping companies identify evolving ESG requirements from overseas customers and across global supply chains;
- Understanding the tangible impact of ESG on supplier qualification, order acquisition, and international market expansion;
- Outlining key action areas for companies in carbon accounting, product carbon footprint, green factories, and supply chain due diligence;
- Avoiding the trap of "doing ESG just for reporting," and establishing implementation pathways aligned with business objectives;
- Translating compliance investments into supply chain resilience, customer trust, and global competitive advantage.
Note: Please register for this event using your company email address. The session will be conducted in Chinese, with English subtitles provided for reference.
