The pilot operation area of the Eastern Hub International Business Cooperation Zone officially commenced operations in July 2026. To help foreign-invested enterprises in Shanghai better understand the opportunities created by this new institutional initiative, the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai has invited representatives from the Eastern Hub Group to provide an in-depth policy briefing.

The seminar will cover key policies, including visa-free entry to the Zone with stays of up to 30 days for eligible cross-border personnel, customs facilitation measures, support policies for foreign-invested enterprises, and dedicated funding programs. Speakers will also introduce the development plans for the E5, E8, E10, and Zone A project areas, followed by a case study from an enterprise operating in the Zone, sharing its practical experience establishing and conducting business there.
