The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai invites you to join our Business Delegation to Nanjing Jiangbei New Area on November 18 (Wednesday), 2026. The delegation offers a comprehensive overview of the industrial landscape and development blueprint of Nanjing Jiangbei New Area, along with a detailed look at its future growth potential. Participants will tour key local industrial parks, have face-to-face conversations with key district leaders, and get firsthand access to the latest investment and development opportunities in the region.

Nanjing Jiangbei New Area is China's 13th national-level new area and the only one in Jiangsu Province. It is also home to the Nanjing area of the China (Jiangsu) Pilot Free Trade Zone, with a strategic positioning that combines "three key functional zones and a major platform." In December 2025, Jiangbei New Area and Pukou District began integrated development, creating a powerful "1+1>2" synergy and injecting unprecedented vitality into the 1,086-square-kilometer region. The New Area is accelerating the development of a "2+4+N" modern industrial system, driven by technological innovation, supported by a strong real economy, and anchored by advanced manufacturing. This includes upgrading traditional industries such as green petrochemicals and high-end steel; strengthening emerging industries like integrated circuits, life and health sciences, smart mobility, high-end equipment manufacturing, and the digital economy; and making forward‑looking investments in future industries such as photonic chips, hydrogen energy and storage, the low‑altitude economy, organ chips, and CCUS (carbon capture, utilization, and storage).
