南京江北新区是中国第13个、江苏省唯一的国家级新区，也是中国（江苏）自由贸易试验区南京片区的所在地，承载着 "三区一平台" 的战略定位。2025年12月，江北新区与浦口区一体化融合发展，形成 "1+1＞2" 强大合力，1086平方公里的土地焕发出前所未有的蓬勃生机。

江北新区正加快构建以科技创新为引领、实体经济为支撑、先进制造业为骨干的 "2+4+N" 现代化产业体系，推动绿色石化、高端钢铁等传统产业焕新升级；集成电路、生命健康、智慧交通和高端装备制造、数字经济等新兴产业做大做强；光子芯片、氢能储能、低空经济、器官芯片、CCUS等未来产业前瞻布局。

The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai invites you to join our Business Delegation to Nanjing Jiangbei New Area on June 16. The delegation offers a comprehensive overview of the industrial landscape and development blueprint of Nanjing Jiangbei New Area, along with a detailed look at its future growth potential. Participants will tour key local industrial parks, have face-to-face conversations with key district leaders, and get firsthand access to the latest investment and development opportunities in the region.

Nanjing Jiangbei New Area is China's 13th national-level new area and the only one in Jiangsu Province. It is also home to the Nanjing area of the China (Jiangsu) Pilot Free Trade Zone, with a strategic positioning that combines "three key functional zones and a major platform." In December 2025, Jiangbei New Area and Pukou District began integrated development, creating a powerful "1+1>2" synergy and injecting unprecedented vitality into the 1,086-square-kilometer region. The New Area is accelerating the development of a "2+4+N" modern industrial system, driven by technological innovation, supported by a strong real economy, and anchored by advanced manufacturing. This includes upgrading traditional industries such as green petrochemicals and high-end steel; strengthening emerging industries like integrated circuits, life and health sciences, smart mobility, high-end equipment manufacturing, and the digital economy; and making forward‑looking investments in future industries such as photonic chips, hydrogen energy and storage, the low‑altitude economy, organ chips, and CCUS (carbon capture, utilization, and storage).
