AmCham Shanghai's Financial Services Committee (FSC) will be hosting an Open Webinar event on Thurs, May 26 from 12:00-1:30 pm.



The topic event, "Leveraging Executive Search in Your Career" will share an insider's view of the Executive Search business, what attributes make candidates attractive, and how to prepare for senior-level role interviews.


Mr. Jason Jia, Egon Zehnder, and Ms. Vivian Wang, Korn Ferry will lead the discussions. Both panelists bring deep and thoughtful perspectives honed from working with hundreds of senior-level candidates across a range of industries.   • Jason Jia (Partner at Egon Zehnder)

    Jason Jia

    Partner at Egon Zehnder

    Jason Jia is a Partner of Egon Zehnder based in Shanghai. He currently leads Egon Zehnder’s Consumer Practice & CFO Practice in Greater China. He is active in advising companies in both senior-level executive search and leadership assessment.

    Before joining Egon Zehnder, Jason was the Commercial Director for Michelin in China, where he drove product and service solutions for large accounts with tremendous success. Prior to that, he was a Project Manager at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. Jason launched his career at Caltex (now Chevron), with a focus on developing the retail business in Asia.

    Jason has Dual Bachelor Degree of Materials Science and English Literature from the East China University of Science and Technology, and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
    Outside of work, he loves cooking with friends and scuba diving.

    Client Partner at Korn Ferry

    Vivian is Client Partner for Global Financial Markets at Korn Ferry, specializes in the senior level search in investment banking, asset management, private equity, venture capital, real estate, fintech as well as C-level search for portfolio companies.

    Vivian has over 20 years’ professional experience with strong general management skills and market knowledge in financial services sector. Prior to Korn Ferry, she worked from a regional executive search firm as Managing Director where she was an instrumental member of financial service sector.

    Vivian served as Head of APAC for a global financial services company, Third Bridge over 6 years, which she built up the business from scratch in the region to now become one of the top ranked players in Asia. There , she led the team to engage with industry gurus/ opinion leaders provide the information service to the global top institutional investors including investment banks, PE/VC firms, asset management , hedge funds, Fortune 500 firms.

    In addition, She is also the advisor to a coaching project for a local startup incubator. In her role as advisor, she established a coaching platform to provide guidance and help young startup entrepreneurs. Vivian is also the career coach for EMBA program in Tongji University and the member of Association of International Coach Federation (ICF).
     
    Vivian holds M.Sc. from University of Surrey in England and B.A at Nanjing Normal University.
