- Major changes to the 2018 tax year affecting most expatriate tax filers such as:
- New format for Form 1040, the standard U.S. Individual Income Tax Return
- Adjusted tax rates, and decrease of the top tax bracket
- Increased standard deduction for all tax filers. The new amounts are: 1) Single or -Suspension of the personal exemption has been suspended (e.g. for your spouse or dependents).
