As China strives to become a leader in the development of artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and other emerging cyber technologies, government regulators have redoubled efforts to introduce regulations to manage and shape these industries. To provide member companies with a better understanding of not only how to comply with current regulations but also of what to expect in the future, AmCham Shanghai is pleased to announce a Cybersecurity Law workshop on the future of the cybersecurity legal landscape on Wednesday November 14 from 3:00 to 5:30 pm at the AmCham Shanghai Conference Center.
The workshop will feature presentations from Zhong Lun Law Firm Partner Ron Cai on AI regulations and Llinks Partner David Pan on blockchain regulations. Both presenters have spoken extensively on these topics and will share recommendations on how companies can manage compliance and risk issues. Following the presentations, there will be a panel discussion with Ernst & Young Risk Advisory Partner Gary Gu, Deloitte Risk Advisory Partner Steven Feng, and Control Risks Cybersecurity Partner Ben Wootliff to examine China's upcoming cybersecurity regulations.
This session is off-the-record and seating will be limited.
