In the 21st century technology is growing at breakneck speed, emerging markets are creating business opportunities around the world and automation is adding efficiency while making some staff "redundant." As change is coming faster than ever there are both opportunities and challenges that come with it. The effective leader in these times is one that helps his/her team to navigate the challenges and take advantage of the opportunities in a timely manner.
For PwC this is something that we see in our own organization as well as in the thousands of clients we service around the world. We all must answer questions about how to manage and lead in an ever-changing environment. In our half-day workshop we will explore the stages of preparing for a change and look at the when are where to apply various skills along the change journey to ensure the best possible outcomes.
To become more effective in leading teams through change we will learn:
- How to be strategic in choosing a change initiative
- The change process from both practical and emotional considerations
- The leadership skills needed and knowing when to apply them
- Recognizing the needs of the team as a whole as well as of individual team members
All PwC learning is taught by lecture, case and experience. In this module taken from the PwC 21st Century Leader series, we bring the content to life through lecture, role plays and case evaluation.
