AmCham Shanghai would like to invite you to join our SME seminar series on Tapping into China's Retail Market โ How to Get Started. The event will be held on June 27 from 14:00-16:30 at AmCham Shanghai Trade and Investment Center. This seminar is aimed at providing expert advice to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) on how to increase competitiveness, expand operations and navigate China's market regulations.
China continues to provide opportunities as it is expected to see retail sales of consumer goods grow by 10 percent to exceed RMB 40 trillion (6.38 trillion U.S. dollars) this year. Recognizing the business potential, China's State Council issued a circular on a new foreign direct investment policy to open up China's economic system earlier last year. This seminar seeks to provide practical suggestions for budding SMEs on how to navigate the Chinese business ecosystem by looking into regulations regarding partially or fully foreign-invested enterprises.
